Compensation of deposits

Deposits of up to 100 000 euros are guaranteed to the extent of 100% per depositor in any one credit institution. Deposits are compensated with the interest earned by the day the deposit is stopped, but no more than the established limit. This means that an amount deposited in any bank registered in Estonia, incl. Swedbank, is fully guaranteed by the state to the extent of said amount.

Term deposit is a convenient and safe way to keep your extra money while receiving a fixed return.

  • Easy to set up and always available to overview in your Internet Bank.
  • Interest pay-out at the end of deposit term or every month, whichever you prefer.
  • Term deposit can be concluded with a fixed amount.
  • You can conclude several deposits with different amounts and periods.
  • Your deposit can be automatically extended with the interest rate valid at the time of extension.
  • You can terminate deposit agreement earlier free of charge, however, in this case you will not receive the accrued interest.

  • An overnight deposit earns interest from the first cent for all balance, if the amount on the linked current account is at least € 30 000.
  • Your money’s always within reach and free to use.
  • Balance is transferred to overnight deposit every day between 10 pm and 7 am for a short period of time.
  • Interest transferred to your current account on the next morning.
  • Interest may change every day.
